The theme for our High Holidays this year is Shav'at 'aniim, Hear the clamor of the poor. Our service this night will include presentations from representatives of Jews United for Justice and Bend the Arc, two organizations who's work includes our theme. 8:45 p.m. We will begin with a brief Havdalah. 9:15 p.m. Representatives from Jews United for Justice and Bend the Arc will join us to share their activities. There will be time for questions and answers so that the SHN community can learn how we can best support their mission. The Selichot Service lead by Hazzan Ramón will begin after the presentations.
