In her second service of the month (Parashat Pinchas), Rabbi Rachel will continue her focus on Jewish Paths to Prayer. Inspired by the Tzelophechad’s daughters, Rabbi Rachel will lead an in-depth Torah study discussion that applies what we know about traditional Jewish ethical decision-making processes to the issue of abortion, exploring ancient and contemporary texts to help us do so. The service will be in person in the Community Room at the North Chevy Chase Christian Church, and on Zoom. Weather permitting, we will gather on the lovely terrace.
