Our Motown-themed Purim shpiel is directed by Hannah Schneider. And – new this year – we will be chanting the Megillah in English. Wear a silly costume, bring a dessert or fruit to share (we will have hamantaschen), invite your friends, and come prepared to celebrate! Fran Levin is continuing the tradition of having boxes of macaroni and cheese available as noisemakers, which we will then donate to a food bank.
 
It is customary to give tzedakah at Purim. One worthy organization is Jewish Women International, which works to empower women and girls so they can thrive in healthy relationships, control their financial futures and realize their full potential.
