We are delighted to announce the formation of a new Wise Aging group this fall. An earlier series was offered at Shirat HaNefesh several years ago and was extremely successful. Leading the group once again will be De Fischler Herman, rabbinic pastor, teacher, educator and artist.
The course is designed for individuals over the age of 50. Employing experiential modalities and group discussion, course topics will include exploring this state of life; becoming one’s authentic self; revitalizing and nourishing healthy relationships, and dealing with loss, change and death. The sessions will be based on the work of Rabbi Rachel Cowan and Dr. Linda Thal in their book called “Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience and Spirit.”
The group will meet on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.on the following dates: October 3, 10,17, 24, 31; November 14 and 28. Cost will be $126 for all 7 sessions ($108 if registered by September 21). The location will be determined based on the convenience of the members of the group. Deadline for registration: September 24. The class will be limited to 10 participants, so please register early.
For further information and to register for the course, please contact Shirat HaNefesh member Patti Iglarsh at 301-983-8112 or at email@example.com.
