This Shabbat falls nearest to Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. We are honored to have our Rabbi’s Table led by Prof. Emanuel Thorne who just published his father’s memoir, It Will Yet Be Heard.  Join us for the poignant, sometimes-harrowing experiences of Rabbi Leon Thorne, who composed his memoir under extraordinary conditions, confined to a small underground bunker below a Polish peasant’s pigsty.  His story is remarkable “for its moral clarity and complexity.”  Services at 9:30 a.m.; Rabbi’s Table starts around 10:45;  kiddush follows at noon.
